(2007, USA, Jim Brown, 90 min, color, DVD)-Eighty-eight-year-old folk singer Pete Seeger, known for such rousing songs as “If I Had a Hammer” and “Waist Deep in the Big Muddy,” recalls the spirit of fortitude and hope of the early civil rights movement. This documentary explores Seeger’s lifetime of political activism from the 1950s anti-Communist witch hunts through today’s protests against the war in Iraq.
