Key Largo Food and Wine Fest Kick Off

Key Largo becomes a food and wine lover’s paradise during the Key Largo Food and Wine Fest from August 1 to 9. Set on an island known for its bountiful tropical fruit, fresh snapper, tuna, mahi-mahi, shrimp and lobster, local restaurateurs and chefs, together with vintners, winemakers and vineyard owners from around the world, will showcase their talents and wines at 33 events. There will be gourmet wine dinners with cultural specialties, feasts and fiestas, food-pairing adventures and explorations of wines from around the world. Join celebrity chef Dr. Jim Boilini for a six-course Italian extravaganza on Friday. Celebrate the beginning of the Florida Keys lobster season on Wednesday with a Florida lobster feast at Bayside Grille (MM 99). On Saturday, August 9, there’s a final free-pour dinner.
