Emilio will play the music of “Distressed Divas”. Emilio is now a BBC correspondent based in London, but Miamians may know him as the host of the amazing radio show “The Rhythm Box” from previous years. Every week, he made connections between music as diverse as Yma Sumac, the UK sounds of 4AD, Afrocuban santero rhythms, and beyond. We miss Emilio, so we invited him to help launch the series while he is visiting.
