“Guillermo Diaz”
Please welcome this year’s Grand Marshal “Guillermo Diaz” to the 21st Annual AIDS Walk Miami. The son of Cuban-born parents, Guillermo has starred in movies such as The Terminal (2004), 200 Cigarettes (1999), Half Baked (1998), and Stonewall (1995).
Guillermo Diaz is currently in his third season, as well as a recent SAG AWARD nominee, playing Guillermo Gomez on the award-winning Showtime series “WEEDS”. Praised for its homegrown humor, “WEEDS” has raised the bar for pathos-infused comedy by shedding a new light on paraphernalia, a territory very familiar to Diaz’s acting resume.
