YVES LAROCK is a frenzied self-taught producer and international DJ who has developed a highly distinctive and personal style in the last two years, with ‘Zookey’ in 2005, ‘Rise up’ in 2007 and the release of his new single ‘By your side’ in 2008.
Influenced no doubt by his hip hop roots, ten years in the swing of things have inevitably left their mark; Yves hit upon the idea of blending House and Zouk, Ragga and Reggae in an original style. The search for ethnic instruments, steel drums, balafons or banjos was a creative choice, reflecting a truly personal style, for fear no doubt of becoming too repetitive and of being catalogued in a style straight jacket.
One of the best dj producer of the French touch, DAVID VENDETTA first came to our musical attention in 2006 when he produced the Hit ” Love to love you baby “, using the famous vocal of Donna Summer in the break. This track got massive support from all the biggest DJ’s in the world and exploded David on to the International scene. The Guru Josh Project’s live show consists of the Guru playing live..DazPerkz spinning tunes before and after, Snakebyte sound and visual direction. In 2008, they re-released Infinity as Infinity 2008, which was remixed by the German DJ, Klaas. It experienced widespread success, peaking at #1 on the Belgian, Dutch and French Singles Charts, Danish Singles Chart, Czech Republic Airplay Chart, Eurochart Hot 100 and #3 on the UK Singles Chart.

MIGUEL MIGS stands at the forefront of electronic music’s soulful realm. Whether tackling his original productions or remixes, he achieves an organic-soulful sound by combining the best of both the electronic music world and live instrumentation.
His impressive discography includes more than 100 original productions and remixes on seminal independent labels such as Salted Music, Naked Music, Astrelwerks, Yoshitoshi, NRK, Black Vinyl, Large, Chez, Transport recordings, Om Records, Defected Records and many others. His recordings have consistently made waves in the underground circuit and have landed on DJ hype charts internationally. He goes highly regarded when it comes to remixes, having worked with major label artists such as Macy Gray, Lionel Ritchie and Britney Spears. Miguel additionally has released numerous mix CD compilations on labels including Defected, Naked Music, Southport Weekender and NRK.
Never one to sit still, Migs started his own label Salted Music in 2004. Having been associated with an extensive number of labels throughout his career, he came to realize a desire to have his own base, a vehicle for building his own catalogue of quality material. Salted Music is a foundation for Migs to choose and release music that inspires him, as well as release his own productions and compilations.
March 2007 saw the release of ‘THOSE THINGS’, Miguel’s sophomore album released on his very own Salted Music imprint. “Those Things represents an open-minded musical spectrum that can have multi-meaning and definition combining forward thinking electronic music elements with live instrumentation inspired by old soul, funk, reggae, jazz, rock and hip-hop,’states San Francisco-based Migs about his follow-up to his 2002 debut album ‘Colorful You’ (Astralwerks/Naked Music). ). The album received massive acclaim and support worldwide and features Sadat X from ‘Brand Nubian’, Lisa Shaw, LT, Fred Ross from the legendary ‘Family Stone’, reggae heavy weight Junior Reid, and Tim Fuller.
Miguel can be found regularly traveling the globe as one of the industries top-leading DJs, as well as at home in the studio writing and creating music, which is his main love and passion. “It’s all about the balance between the touring and traveling, studio work and everything else in life.” Miguel says, ” Music has no boundaries and I get inspired by everything around me.” Migs certainly draws no limits to his artistry.

His phenomenal career all started back in 1999 when he created Hed Kandi and developed the brand as a lifestyle concept, incorporating a record label, a radio show and international club nights that stimulated all the senses.
During Mark’s tenure, Hed Kandi sold over five million albums worldwide and his unique A&R and marketing vision helped them deliver a string of Top 40 singles and significant artist album sales as he developed an artist roster.
In addition, he developed a career as a radio DJ, creating the weekly Hed Kandi Radio Show broadcast on JAZZFM/Smooth FM and the Galaxy network in the UK and through syndications around the world.
Surely one of the most creative, energetic human beings currently walking the planet, Mark launched Tokyo Project with his partners in 2005, with the release of the critically acclaimed CD ‘Tokyo Project – The Collection’. That Project is now complete and Mark has used the invaluable lessons that he has learnt along the way to launch Fierce Angel – his absolute vision of what a record label and events brand really should be. This will be the most exciting phase of Mark’s career to date.

Washington DC’s Bullitt Bookings showcases their amazing roster of DJ’s at the Bullitt Bookings Mixer, Friday March 27th at Hed Kandi Lounge. The event promises a wealth of international talent packed into one room, including Bullitt co-founder Dubfire, Miami hometown hero Cedric Gervais, the newly re-formed Dirty Vegas, Shlomi Aber, and many more. As a rare treat, many of the DJ’s will be taking to the decks in pairs for special tag-team sets, such as Davide Squillace vs. Matthias Tanzmann, Tommie Sunshine vs. Tom Novy, and Dean Coleman vs. Miss Nine. The newly opened Hed Kandi Gastro Lounge and Music Lab promises to provide an intimate and luxurious setting for the event, with high-end sound that do these DJs justice.
