Showcasing Local Miami Designers

For Immediate Release: Miami April 28, 2009. Style Miami is a shopping event where local designers showcase their work and talent to the local style-savvy consumer. The event will take place in the lush landscape of Miami’s own Upper East Side garden, located on 7244 Biscayne Blvd, in the booming MiMo Historic District.

When: Saturday May 2nd, 2009 12-6pm
Where: Upper East Side Garden. Each vendor will be set up within the garden under tented areas.
Who: A partial list of confirmed designers include Krelwear, Noble Truth, Green Veranda, Gold Saturn, Funky Urban, Uhma Nagri, Naturally Naked, Clavahead, Bebecito Organic and others.

Cost: $5 each (includes refreshments, please see below)

Details: While the people are shopping they will be enjoying complimentary cocktails by sponsors Voodoo Tiki Tequila and Grolsch Beer all the while savoring food by local Artist/Grill Master, Jason Hedges; who’s minimalist smoker explores the beauty of food and drink and the evolution of mankind since learning to cook – according New York times November 25, 2007 issue. Additionally there will be complimentary mini golf at back 9 in the garden.

Upper East Side Garden is a non-profit organization going into its third year of operation. It features a native and endangered garden center, Back9 mini golf course, and it’s hosted a plethora of events from Janus film movies nights, to concerts by Matisyahu and Awesome New Republic to name a few.
