ABOUT “FÊTE DE LA MUSIQUE”
Fête de la Musique began in Paris in 1982 as a new holiday celebrating the Summer
solstice on June 21st. It has evolved into a global music festival, featuring free music in
the streets, fields and concert halls across Europe, Africa, Asia and the Americas.
