• The venue will be using all organic fruit for their cocktails
– organic food production has a significantly lower carbon footprint than traditional produce
• biodegradable straws
• 100% post-consumer napkins
• Promoting car-pooling
• All invitations sent digitally, no use of paper
• all waste will be sorted to ensure all recyclables are properly recycled (typically not in practice)
• working with our renewable energy partner, Earth Era to offset the estimated carbon footprint for all guests
– all guests will be surveyed upon entrance to determine average distance driven and whether or not they carpooled. This will be one of the ways that will allow us to offset accordingly.
