photo MIAMI 2009 To Hold Cocktail Party Benefiting Usher’s New Look Foundation and The Clinton Global Initiative
A special event benefiting Usher’s New Look Foundation (UNL) and Clinton Global Initiative (CGI) will highlight the fourth annual photo MIAMI 2009 (pM09) contemporary international art fair. This special event will be held at the spectacular Viceroy Hotel. All proceeds from the sale of artist Sean Higgins’ striking Raga Jog limited edition prints (available for sale at photo Miami) will be donated to UNL/CGI, an organization affiliated with CGI and founded by Grammy award-winning entertainer Usher that empowers youth from under-served communities to aspire to corporate and community leadership positions.
The luxurious, Kelly Wearstler-designed Viceroy Hotel, a sponsor of photo MIAMI, is donating the benefit space. The event will be held on December 4th. Higgins Raga Jog prints feature beautiful smoky plumed rocket launchings and are a perfect representative of the stunning photo-based artwork on exhibit throughout pM09.
