Art Basel Week on Friday, December 4, 2009.   We started the day off at CANDO Arts Co-Op Palm Court Exhibit featuring local artist.  Then we headed over to Ink Miami, this has always been one of my favorites and it still is. One of the rooms had Japanese art and it was amazing.  Then we walk over to Verge Art Fair (which was Bridge Art Fair) at the Catalina Hotel, this was a very nice fair. The one thing that really stood out was in the little garden Wild Feasties, they create a Artful Food Experience and they where awesome.  The had gone to the Redlands and picked up fresh fruits and vegetables and the tastings where amazing.  As we where walking back to our car, the street was filled with these big machines, so had to stop and take some action shots.  From there we headed over to PressitOn Gallery in the Design District , they always have such good art work and tonight was no different.  Next we hit Eat your Art Out, this had a great exhibit of emerging artists. Next we walked over to Satallite Art + Design Exhibition at the Miami Art Space. Now we headed back to South Beach and started at the Metropole Hotel, they had an exhibit from a local artist Dallas, his artwork is awesome.  From there we headed over to the Pool Art Fair at the Carlton Hotel, they had some really cool art.  For our last stop of the night was at the Miami Design Preservation League Special Event at the Art Deco Welcome Center on 10th street.  They just did a big renovation and the looked awesome.  For the better gallery, click here.  By Annette Peikert
