11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
FREE EVENT
On Saturday, March 27, families can take part in a one-of-kind Easter celebration only a Miamian could appreciate – a coconut hunt. Dozens of coconuts, artistically painted like Easter Eggs, will be placed along Grand Avenue between CocoWalk and the Shoppes at Mayfair in Coconut Grove for the first annual Grove Coconut Hunt.
Eager hunters can expect a prize basket for their efforts. The Easter Bunny will be on hand to preside over the day’s festivities and will also be available for photos with the youngsters. Other highlights will include a petting zoo, and FREE tasty giveaways like cotton candy and snow cones.
The Grove Coconut Hunt begins at 11 a.m. and continues through 3 p.m. It is free and open to the public. CocoWalk is located at 3015 Grand Avenue, while neighboring Shoppes at Mayfair in the Grove is located at 2911 Grand Avenue.
