Cafeina Hosts Special Event Honoring Songwriter Jamie Jo Harris Along With Collaborator And Grammy Award-Winning Producer Rudy Perez

“People We Love” celebrates the debut of the dynamic music duo’s new tracks “Sexy Money” and “Rock On It”

Wynwood hotspot Cafeina sets the tune with the next installment of “People We Love,” an event series honoring Miami’s tastemakers, influencers and philanthropists. On Thursday, May 13, 2010, songwriter and now jewelry designer Jamie Jo Harris, along with collaborator and nine-time Grammy Award-winning producer Rudy Perez, will host the fourth installment of hit party series, complete with the exclusive debut of the duo’s new tracks “Sexy Money” and “Rock On It.”

Guests will enjoy hors d’oeuvres by Executive Chef Guily Booth and complimentary cocktails from 9:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. International mix-master and “People We Love” resident DJ Joe Dert will keep the crowd going until the early hours while hostess Jamie Jo is also expected to jump on the turntables to spin a selection of hand-picked beats including her chart-topping debut single, “U Turn Me On,” a pop confection duet with legendary vocalist Barry Gibb of Bee Gees fame.

One of the newest lifetime members of the Songwriters Hall of Fame, Jamie Jo is currently working with Rudy Perez to produce a selection of songs to be presented to his A-list clients including Leona Lewis and Beyonce, among others. As one of South Florida’s leading fashionistas and trendsetters, having walked the runway at various charitable fashion shows and been appointed hostess of events and store openings for some of the world’s most recognized designers, Jamie Jo has also just launched the first piece of her jewelry line, Belle Coeur.
