On September 10th, Saks Fifth Avenue Dadeland and 34 stores across the country transformed into fashion’s ultimate rock ‘n’ party with a night of style, makeovers, music and more.
Saks Fifth Avenue Dadeland invited four charities (American Red Cross, Baptist Hospital Foundation, Big Brothers Big Sisters, and Humane Society of Greater Miami) to participate in a night of shopping that will benefit these charities and give back to the community. As part of the promotion to celebrate fashion, Saks Dadeland gave a Monique Lhuillier evening gown informal modeling presentation to showcase this fall season’s beautiful dresses. All the charities involved host their galas and balls in the latter months of the year. This event will be an opportunity for the ladies to purchase an evening gown for their upcoming events.
The evening began on the ground floor with our Rock Out and Make Up event, which featured tips and tricks to looking like a rock star. The Spa at Mandarin Oriental, Miami offered five-minute neck massages and raffling off a gift certificate to The Spa.
The event was accompanied by a champagne reception provided by Moet & Chandon. Morton’s The Steakhouse served light hors d’oeuvres throughout the informal fashion presentation on the second floor. The event will also have dueling Dj’s and a book signing by Margarita Zingg, author of Glamour para Llevar, the proceeds from the books will go to America Developing Smiles. Special Thanks to Miami Magazine for partnering with Saks Dadeland for this event.
Guests who shopped with their MasterCard® card on Fashion Night Out received an exclusive Fashion’s Night Out rock ‘n’ roll playlist.
