Four years into playing the South Florida reggae circuit, The Resolvers have begun evolving on every front. Adding a full horn section and multiple female harmonizers, the new 11-piece outfit captures the essence of the classic big-band reggae sound: natural acoustic percussion, deep bass grooves, worldly drum rhythms, tasty vintage keyboards and bluesy guitar licks accented by timely horn blasts, all while being blended with modern song craftsmanship to create their own familiar yet original take on world music. The Resolvers are rooted by a core of five dedicated musicians including Dean Fishback (veteran keyboardist who has played with Inner Circle, Sugar Minot and Mikey Dread) and front man Ojay Smith (son of Jamaican legend Ernie Smith).
