Write Now 2011: UM Creative Writing Program Hosts A Craft-Intensive Weekend

The University of Miami’s Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing Program will host a weekend workshop series Write Now. The series is designed to engage the local writing community and will take place February 19-20, 2011. Led by the MFA program’s distinguished faculty, alumni, and graduate teaching assistants, the weekend will guide participants via workshops and seminars in fiction, poetry and memoir.
UM authors Jane Alison, A. Manette Ansay, Mia Leonin, Walter K. Lew, Lester Goran, Peter Schmitt, Maureen Seaton, and MFA program director M. Evelina Galang, joined by special guest novelist Chantel Acevedo, will offer insights into writing, revising and publishing.
