City of Hialeah and Dade Medical College to Host a Community Health Fair and Mammography Screening Donation Event in Hialeah

When – Thursday, December 2, 2010, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Where – John F. Kennedy Library (190 West 49th Street, Hialeah, FL 33012)

The City of Hialeah and La Liga Contra El Cancer will join Dade Medical College for a community health fair and mammography screening donation event. This event will allow the first 50 women who show up and do not have health insurance or Medicare / Medicaid will receive a complimentary mammography screening to be performed at area hospitals. A press conference is scheduled for 11:30 a.m., where Hialeah Mayor Julio Robaina will deliver opening remarks alongside Dade Medical College CEO Ernesto Perez. The event will feature free chair massages, blood pressure and glucose screenings, educational information and giveaway items. More information is available by calling 305.821.2700.
