On Saturday, February 19, celebrated artist and filmmaker Isaac Julien will host a lecture on his current exhibition, ISAAC JULIEN/Creative Caribbean Network, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Bass Museum of Art. ISAAC JULIEN/Creative Caribbean Network is the most comprehensive exhibition of the artist’s work in the last ten years. It showcases the U.S. premiere of Julien’s critically acclaimed, nine-screen installation, Ten Thousand Waves (2010) as well as the film installations and photographic series Paradise Omeros (2002) Baltimore (2003) and Vagabondia (2000). Book signing opportunities will be available. The exhibition will be on view through March 6, 2011. Lecture cost is $10 for members and $15 for non-members.
