The Cleveland Orchestra will perform an education concert at a Miami-Dade County Public School, on Friday, March 4, at 1:00 p.m. The Orchestra, led by Principal Guest Conductor Giancarlo Guerrero, will perform at Miami Edison Senior High School. The concert features Berlioz’s Roman Carnival Overture, a suite from Bizet’s Carmen, and Ravel’s Boléro. Keoshia Sagaille, a student at Miami Edison Senior High School, will make her Cleveland Orchestra debut performing “The Star-Spangled Banner” to open the program.

Through its annual Miami Residency, The Cleveland Orchestra serves more than 20,000 adults and young people each year through a variety of concerts and community outreach activities created for the Miami-Dade community. These include three weekends of subscription concerts as well as free education concerts for more than 3,500 fifth graders at the Arsht Center, and numerous educational partnership activities with the New World Symphony, University of Miami Frost School of Music, and Miami-Dade County Public Schools.
