The City of Doral Mayor Juan Carlos Bermudez, has proclaimed April 22nd, 2011 as Earth Day as a special day to draw people together, learn and appreciate our planet. The 3rd annual Eco Fair will take place at JC Bermudez Park, located at 3000 NW 87th Avenue in Doral, from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. We will have approximately 40 exhibitors with their eco friendly options, activities and educational booths to provide our community with the different alternatives on how to do our regular day to day activities in a sustainable way that will not harm our environment. We will also have educational activities for the children.

Several free recycling services will be available on site by different companies and agencies:
• E-Scrap – will provide electronic recycling
• ERC Electronic Recycling Center – will provide electronic recycling
• All American Recycling Center – will provide shredding and office / school paper recycling
• Sunshine Recycling Services – Paper recycling
• Shower Head and Light bulb fixture exchange – provided by Miami-Dade County Water and Sewer Department (WASD) and Miami-Dade County IFAS.
