Cafeina & Michael Margulies Artist Agency Present Debut Show By The Surface Merchants
“Lost and Found: freedom in post-graffism” reflects discontent in America via 3-D wall art

The Wynwood Exhibition Center at Cafeina, along with the Michael Margulies Artist Agency, is pleased to announce its latest exhibition, “Lost and Found: freedom in post-graffism,” which will run from Friday, April 8, 2011 until Sunday, May 1, 2011. It is the debut show by the Surface Merchants collective, comprised of Miami artists Raymond Adrian, Alex Yanes and Daniel Fila. The artists will be on-site in the 1,000-square-foot gallery for a special “meet & greet” on May, 1, 2011 to close out the show.

The trio derives inspiration from the discontent with the current economics of life in modern-day America. The installation features vibrant characters painted on wood that are made into striking, large-scale, 3-D wall art and blends the artists’ distinctive styles to create a unique experience for the viewer.
