Miami’s best arts and music festival on the last Friday of every month.
Where: Domino Stage at Domino Plaza, at SW 15th Ave & 8th St.
On the stage:
7:00 – 7:30pm -The sultry dance of Flamenco lives in the dancers of Fina Escayola Flamenco. This legendary Flamenco dancer and instructor passes on the mystic history of classical Spanish dance on a daily basis in her studio. This month, they bring their exotic dances to Calle Ocho.
7:30 – 8:30 pm -Reinaldo Alvarez Talented, youthful, strong performer, this Venezuelan singer-song writer has conquered everybody’s hearts in a very short period of time. Reinaldo’s, very successful record `No soy el único΄ was produced by Yasmil Marrufo (Ricky Martin, Alexandre Pires, Ricardo Montaner) has gone double platinum in his native Venezuela. A hit that has reached the first place in radio stations in countries such as Costa Rica, Panama, Bolivia and Ecuador, Peru and many more.
8:30 – 8:35 pm – Capoeira Show
8:35 – 9:00 pm -Learn the latest tropical dance moves while enjoying an hour of fun on the dance floor with all-star Latin dancers Denisse and JC. They will teach merengue, danzón, salsa, sones, and many more steps to get you moving.
9:00 – 9:30 pm -The Ruben DarÃo Middle School Band brings their amazing talent to our festival! This outstanding band will showcase the dedication and talent that brings pride to their school.
9:30 – 11:00pm – Dance the night away with Lanzallamas Monofonica. This band is an eight-piece ensemble charged with melodic fire and global rhythmic chemistry. Based in Miami, yet representing five different countries, this group truly encompasses the diversity that defines a quintessential world music band. LM Tastefully blends elements of music and world culture, ranging from; Afro Caribbean, South American folklore, Rhythm and blues, jazz, funk and a twist of Eastern melodic grooves.The sound is international, fresh, exciting, and geared towards the future. Lanzallamas evokes joy and an uplifting spirited dancing urge in the audience; always receiving a standing ovation! LM is on a mission to heal the world through music!
The Viernes Culturales Art Gallery is proud to host Haitian painter Carl Craig in its monthly gallery exhibit. Carl’s work has been exhibited in galleries worldwide as an exponent of his culture and heritage. He received the Miami-Dade County Certificate of Appreciation award and winner of the Arts Flint Showcase. His art work will be displayed at the Viernes Culturales Art Gallery April. 6 through June 17.

Discover a former synagogue now serving as a Hispanic house of worship. View vintage bungalows and frame vernacular homes dating to the early 1900’s, and a former Jewish youth center, now a Hispanic school. Observe the former right-of-way of a trolley car carrying passengers to downtown from Riverside. See the signature Mediterranean-style building housing a cigar shop.
