Central Beer Garden and Sushi Central Lounge are set to open to the public this week May 4, 2011. “Miami’s premiere venue and event space†and its fabulous sister Central Sushi Lounge are two new unique venues that will become the trendy “it†spots in Coconut Grove.
Opening the first week of May 2011 Central Beer Garden in Cocowalk, has 60 plus international beers on tap and great food menu. Patrons can come and gather for beer, hearty foods, live entertainment featuring some of the most popular bands from Miami’s music scene and private “unplugged†type concerts. Bands that will play will include such South Florida faves as “Suenalo†and ‘Spam Allstars†to name a couple. Both of these popular bands will play in May at the venue.
Central Beer Garden will come out of the gate with a five hundred person networking event with a special guest as speaker as well as a private concert with a very beloved Miami artist that has made waves “worldwide.†Not bad for a spot opening in what is still referred to by many as a Village of Coconut Grove. Guests can enjoy a 20,000 sq ft space with indoor and outdoor seating, flat-screens all over the space, warm color palette and a huge bar setup.
The venue will also be set up to host social, private, corporate and media driven large or small scale events. Central Beer Garden was created for a casual, bohemian experience while Sushi Central Lounge will be a dynamic sophisticated lounge for those wanting a palate-pleasing experience or some delicious signature cocktails without having to go very far. Fit for “date†nights, happy hour or a private celebration, Sushi Central Lounge will soon be the hip spot for scenesters, influencers, and those just wanting to enjoy good sushi.
Sushi Central Lounge is designed to be a chic ultra trendy lounge that is fit for Miami’s world renowned nightlife scene. Located just one flight of stairs below the Central Beer Garden, Sushi Central Lounge was conceptualized to stimulate the senses as the sights, sounds and tastes make for an ambiance like no other in the Grove and cater to the individual wanting to dance, and listen to the chicest and most popular lounge and dance music. Featured will be a sushi menu with Latin infused flavors and themes designed by a celebrity sushi Chefwho is responsible for some of New York’s finest sushi bars the restaurant/lounge. The lounge will also feature a tequila bar boasting exotic and unique tequila cocktails. The experience is topped off with hip and popular music that will pump through the sound system and dance floor to round out the Sushi Central Lounge experience. Both venues were built out in a manner which would facilitate the planning of private parties, family celebrations, and corporate soirees.
Both spots will open with a fabulous by-invitation grand opening complete with a formal ribbon cutting attended by VIPS, city officials and local celebs. The soirees will be Thursday May 4, 2011 from 6:30-9:30PM. Guests can expect receptions fit for celebrities since, they are including products endorsed by some: complimentary Voli Vodka cocktails (front man is artist Pitbull), Tres Rios Tequila (owner is Motley Crew’s Vince Neil) Dos XX beer and Brugal Rum. The two-day fete will be complete with music by DJ X on May 4, and DJ Rob Dinero on May 5, 2011 during the open-to the public huge Cinco de Mayo fest that Central Beer Garden will host during Cocowalk’s annual Cinco de Mayo event.
