This Week At The Miami Dance Festival Delma Iles Director Critics’ Roundtable Panel Discussion & Brazz In Brazz Out: Informal Performance by Brazz Dance Theater

Noted writer and dance historian Dr. Andrea M. Seidel (Florida International University) will moderate a panel discussion with audience interaction that focuses on how critics look at and write about dance, the criteria they use, responsibilities when writing about dance in a young arts community, and audiences.
Critics include: Celeste Fraser Delgado from the Knight Arts Blog, Orlando Taquechel from El Nuevo Herald, and Annie Hollingsworth from the newly launched Artburst media service.

Immediately after the panel discussion, join Brazz Dance Theater, Artistic Director Augusto Soledade, in an informal showing of a new work in progress, Cordel. Soledade will comment on his creative process, and field questions from the audience, as well as seek feedback on the choreography to date.
