An evening of culinary delights at South Beach’s Red Steakhouse, hosted by the Breakwater Hotel benefitted a great cause…The Sabina Merlino Memorial Fund. The gathering took place at the restaurant’s Roof Top Lounge which featured great food, music and some of the stunning views of South Beach. A silent auction also took place in which art designs, beauty enhancements, and other items were up for bids.

On July 1, 2008, Sabina Merlino lost her brave fight against lung cancer. She was a vibrant individual-a mother, a friend and a businesswoman. She dedicated much of her life to helping and caring for others.

The Sabina Merlino Memorial Fund is dedicated to giving cancer patients access the latest and best medical treatments despite their financial limitations. For more information please visit www.smmfund.org
