In keeping with this initiative and our overall vision, Social Esquire is hosting an empoWOMENt brunch where women will come together to celebrate their individuality.

We will also have a special honoree this year, Somy Ali. Somy Ali’s mother was a victim of domestic violence. Since 2006 Somy has been working as a human rights advocate through her non-profit organization, No More Tears, that stands in support of the Universal D…eclaration of Human Rights and its guarantees of safety, security and freedom for all humans. No More Tears’ mission is to eradicate violence in all its forms through collaborative projects involving awareness, education, activism, and advocacy for victims both domestically and abroad. No More Tears has rescued many women over the years; providing them with shelter, education, even assisting with immigration services for those not born in the U.S. It is our pleasure to shine a light on this organization.
