Girls on Film Brings a Rock-and-Roll Attitude Back To Dance Music: upcoming show gives kids a reason to report to the dance floor.

Tallahassee’s Girls on Film, the female electro-pop sensation, will be bringing their high-energy, neo-new-wave sounds to the dance floor for an upcoming show at Bardot.

Girls on Film has been delighting hipsters, new wavers, and fashionistas with their charismatic live shows, striking appearance, and signature “glam wave” sound since the beginning of the millennium. Their music resonates with such influences as Human League, Yaz, and Missing Persons, as they create retro synth-driven textures, woven with a modern sensibility.

This will not be Girls on Film’s first visit to South Florida, but it will be their first appearance at Bardot. The band’s songs are infectious, and the Girls know how to rock a crowd and keep them wanting more. This show promises to have people jumping up and getting down.
