Miami’s best arts and music festival on the last Friday of every month, from 7 to 11 pm on SW 8th Street (Calle Ocho) between 13th and 17th Avenues.

Samaris Cassano – Mistress of Ceremony
Puerto Rican born and raised, Samaris is a talented artist, published author and radio personality. She studied television directing/production at the Colegio de Artes y Ciencias. Television at the University of Puerto Rico, communications at the Universidad del Sagrado Corazon and acting at the Instituto de Cultura Puertorriqueño. She is delighted to be working with us to help guide your Viernes Culturales experience!
Denisse Cambria Dancers
Learn the latest tropical steps and moves while enjoying an hour of fun on the dance floor with all-star Latin dancers Denisse and JC. They will teach merengue, danzón, salsa, sones, and many more steps to get you moving.
Circo Ritmo y Alegria
Ladies and gentlemen, children of all ages, come and enjoy Circo Ritmo y Alegria! Chiflado the clown and his buddies promise a fun filled evening including acrobats, jugglers and unicyclists. Don’t miss this incredible troupe of performers.
Artistic-Explosion is a vocal and dance performance academy devoted to helping young artists grow and succeed. These incredibly talented kids will keep you entertained with their amazing performances.
Edwin Bonilla
This multi-talented Puerto Rican is one of the best percussionists, songwriters and producer worldwide. Invited by artists like Gloria Estefan, Ricky Martin, Madonna, Juan Luis Guerra, Celia Cruz and many more, Edwin will delight you with his nostalgic rhythms of sones, guaguanco and descargas. Don’t miss this incredible performer.

Walking Tour of Little Havana
Legendary local historian Dr. Paul George leads a walking tour of Little Havana. Lear the fascinating and entertaining details about Little Havana’s history, people and places.
Viernes Culturales is pleased to announce May’s “Romp Through Little Havana”. This tour of Little Havana, will focus on the historic Conch Hill Neighborhood.

Viernes Culturales Art Gallery Presents World Refugee Month Artists
Enjoy the works of:
Enrique Ermus who arrived from Santiago de Cuba in 2010. His work has been exhibited in galleries in Cuba, Spain Dominican Republic and recently in Solo Art, Miami.
Helier Batista is a Cuban Regufee who arrived in Miami August, 2008. He is a graduate of Fine Arts Academy of Las Tunas, Cuba.
Hiremio Garcia aka Santa Olaya is a Cuban refugee who arrived in Miami in 2009. His work has been exhibited throughout Cuba, Spain and Puerto Rico.
The art work will be displayed at Viernes Culturales Art Gallery through June 17.

Film at the Tower Theater
To all cinema lovers: We would like to invite you to discover one of Miami’s best-kept secrets, the historic Tower Theater. Enjoy top-quality foreign or independent films, film premiers, and even an art exhibition. To top it off, screenings have English (or Spanish) subtitles and prices are just $6 for general public and $5 for students and seniors! Can it get any better than this?
