United Hearts of America Fundraiser at The Betsy Hotel on Thursday, July 14, 2011.   What a great cause and amazing event.

Education begins in the heart . The goal of this Community Heart Project is to shift the focus of our political leaders back to education. Under the direction of neo-pop artist Ed King, thousands of participants will come together in an ambitious artistic undertaking to create a series of American flags — solely comprised of hearts. Citizen artists will be given an opportunity to paint a heart and record their own personalized message on what education means to them.
