Over the past 13 winter seasons, the Holiday Boat Parade has grown in size and scope, attracting club members and non-members alike. Over the past few years the event, has featured more than 75 boats, and nearly 100 are expected this year. Fast forward to the present and with donations and toy collections benefiting the children of Centro Mater Child Care Services, last year’s parade collected and donated over 1,000 toys for the children of our community.
The Miami Outboard Club’s Holiday boat parade has expanded by hosting private and community events such as their Holiday Gala, a black tie event which toy donations and Gala ticket sales for the Toy Drive, give you the opportunity to meet local dignitaries and sponsoring business owners, Poster Contest, where we partnered with Miami-Dade School Board Member, RAQUEL REGALADO and initiated the first of many POSTER CONTESTS within our Miami-Dade County School System and Santa’s Visit, at Centro Mater to celebrate yet another year of bringing smiles to under privileged children in Miami-Dade County. These events are a fundamental part of The Miami Outboard Club’s Family and community activities.
