This mega event is organized with the support of the Peruvian government represented by the general consulate of Peru in Miami, the honorable Eduardo Chavarri. The support of our sponsor the prestigious culinary school “San Ignacio College†presided by Mr. Raul Diez Canseco Terry, former president of Peru. as well as the support of ARMAP a Peruvian association presided by Mr. Javier Vargas, award winner of the “Largest Cebiche Of The World†and the government entity Marca Peru.
Our goal is to promote Peruvian Cuisine and by offering the international community in Miami to taste the vast variety of traditional dishes. Peruvian Cuisine is well known for its traditional flavors and ability to create modern fusions that push the limits of international culinary delights.
“Taste Of Peru 2011†will delight the global community with the opportunity to savor the delicacies from the different regions of Peru, peruvian cuisine has become one of the world’s favorite peruvian chefs have won several accolades and awards for their innovative fusions and vast variety of dishes.
“Taste Of Peru 2011†a 2-day gastronomical festival will be home to the best chefs from Peru and other parts of the world as they demonstrate their flagship dishes to more than 10,000 expected visitors. This mega event will be open from 10am to 10pm on both Saturday and Sunday with over 100 exhibitors under one roof to include local and international peruvian restaurants, beverage & food product companies, import & export companies, and tourism & hospitality services.
The Peruvian American Chamber of Commerce of South Florida will offer all guests the opportunity to participate in the various activities during the festival on the 12th & 13th of November there will be food and beverage contests such as the best cebiche, the best causa and the most creative quinua dish, etc. also the most creative pisco drink sponsored by pisco “o†with the participation of the us bartenders association. San Ignacio College chefs will also be presenting cooking demos of traditional dishes.
“Taste Of Peru 2011†will not only offer these companies the opportunity to promote their products and services on an international level, but will also offer them business opportunities with networking meetings, franchise seminars, workshops and business seminars.
There will also be live entertainment with fashion show, traditional dances, art & photograph exhibits and many other surprises.
