Coral Gables landmark, JohnMartin’s Irish Pub & Restaurant will unveil its newly renovated restaurant and menu with a series of Grand Re-Opening events, starting October 19, 2011.

“We are inviting the public to celebrate JohnMartin’s Irish Pub and Restaurant’s new look, taste and feel,” said owner, Martin Lynch. “With these series of events, the JohnMartin’s family wants to express its gratitude to the South Florida and Coral Gables community for over 20 years of on-going support.”
The series of events include:
· Wednesday, October 19, 2011 – Grand Re-Opening Kick-Off Party: Featuring karaoke, a live DJ, a sampling of new menu items, drink specials and a special live performance by Paddy Kelleghan. To further celebrate the renovations, JohnMartin’s will raffle off a Biltmore Hotel Weekend Getaway and Actor’s Playhouse tickets for 4 with dinner at JohnMartin’s.
· Thursday, October 20, 2011 – Trivia Night:
The restaurant will host a special Trivia Night, where first place trivia winners will receive a $100 JohnMartin’s gift certificate and second place winners will receive a $50 gift certificate.
· Friday, October 21, 2011 – Van Gogh Listens:
Celebrations continue with a live concert by local rock band, Van Gogh Listens.
· Saturday, October 22, 2011 – Dance Party:
The week of festivities will conclude with a dance party from 9:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. Food and drink specials will be featured throughout the week.
Restaurant renovations include a revamped second floor with a new dance floor, perfect for special occasions, meetings and parties; new bathrooms, tiles, and an updated menu boasting new flavorful options. “The renovation extends itself not only to our physical appearance, but also to our food. We are now introducing the option of family portions to some items on our menu, as well as new pub fare menu items and bar snacks,” explained John Clarke, chef and co-proprietor with Martin Lynch. “The new menu will also feature an international breakfast option and newly added drink specials.”

JohnMartin’s, has been continually recognized for its cuisine by publications that voted the restaurant “Best Pub Food.” The restaurant features live entertainment every Friday and Saturday nights, from Contemporary Top 40 hits to rock to today’s popular Irish ballads. They also have The Trivia Night on Thursday nights beginning at 8 pm.
