Macy’s and Latina Magazine will celebrate Hispanic Heritage in South Florida with great fashion, music, food, and educational opportunities! Latina Magazine’s Verky Arcos will host an exciting fashion presentation in celebration of the magazine’s Quinceañera (15th anniversary). The fashion presentation will feature Macy’s recent Latina model search winners.
Macy’s customers will enjoy a cultural celebration with a special hors d’oeuvres menu created by Miami chef and cookbook author Ana Quincoces, set to the sounds of Latin jazz and the sizzling moves of South Florida salsa dancers.
Latina women will look their best as Lancôme teaches them how to get those perfect luscious lashes with professional makeup techniques and special product demonstrations.
Attendees will also have the chance to apply to two internship opportunities and corresponding wardrobe scholarships with Macy’s and Latina Magazine. Additionally, Melissa Campo from the Hispanic Scholarship Fund will be on hand to speak with future Latino leaders about opportunities for college scholarships.
