French and Americans will go to the polls to elect their next respective presidents. In both countries, the past presidents are candidates for succession and the similarities do not end there. For the first time, the French Socialist Party decide to hold primaries, an American-inspired idea. However, in both countries the surprises could come from the right: the voters of the FN in France and supporters of the Tea Party in the United States.
