The Funk will be hosting an amazing evening that will support Haiti and local and international artists featuring BlacInc, JaFleu, Daniel Fortune, NinaGreekinian, JC studio and more,
Models will strut in the artsy,funky, fantasy -like designs by Christian Segui, Anastasia Sagalovich, Anchowear by Joanne, and YeraBrand
For your entertainment, expect a variety of live performances,by Fader Lima, Oh Ginelle, Dance Culture Divas, Live Love Dance Performing Arts Company,League of Extraordinary Steppers,Party Room Squad and more.And don’t forget! Leave some tummy room before coming to THE FUNK, to indulge in our complementary sweet and savoury hors d’oeuvres bar, featuring My Cupcake Love.
THE FUNK truly offers something for everyone. Shop amongst a wide variety of unique vendors such as soy candles, handmade jewelery,beauty products, feather extensions, children’s items,homemade cookies, sandals, reaggae wear and accessories and more
Guests who come dressed up in a costume get a chance to win a bag full of items from our vendors and cash prizes.
This event runs between 7pm ad 11pm, and admission is $10. Children 8 and under pay no admission fee.Parts of the proceeds go to Word and Acion- www.wordandaction.org a non-profit organization focused on sexually abused children in Haiti. Their goal is to create the House of Hearts, to shelter and care for these children and their mothers.
