Art Center/ South Florida opens their Newly Juried Artists exhibition at the Richard Shack Gallery, featuring work by artists who are completing the first year of their residency program. A reception for the artists, which is free and open to the public, will be held that same evening. The exhibition will run through Sunday, November 13 at 10:00 p.m.
Featured artists include: Tony Chimento (painting), Pablo Constrisciani (painting), Tom Cocotos (mixed media collage), Katerina Friderici (mixed media), Rosa Naday Garmendia (sculpture), Peter Hammar (mixed media), Lissette Schaeffler (photography) and Antonia Wright (video). Tom Cocotos will create a mixed media collage portrait throughout the show and will begin the piece at the opening on October 7.
Gallery hours are Tuesday-Thursday and Sunday from noon – 10pm; Friday-Saturday noon -11pm. Admission is free to all.
