Fort Lauderdale Zombie Walk Presented by Green Room & Black Fridays

In the spirit of making Fort Lauderdale an increasingly more creative and interesting place to live, Green Room’s weekly Black Friday is hosting this year’s souped-up Fort Lauderdale Zombie Walk. On October 14th, Himmarshee Village will be swarmed with hundreds of the undead, staggering and groaning through the streets in search of succulent brains and fresh meat. Participating zombies are asked to meet at Green Room by 10pm.

If you’d like to be zombie-fied free of charge by a professional, the venue has invited local artist Keegan Hitchcock of Body Art by Keegan to paint willing patrons starting at 8pm at the venue (reservations are full). Along the march, there will be judges on hand to award prizes for best groan, best walk, and Mr & Mrs Zombie. To take this year’s Zombie Walk to the next level, we’ve added some wild antics such as (but not limited to) a live zombie shooting range and a severed limb scavenger hunt. Afterwards, come dance the night away at Green Room’s weekly event Black Friday with resident DJ’s Linder Smash and Kaos for a night of new wave, dark house, and industrial music.
