Exclusive hotel sponsor of Sleepless Night Miami Beach, The Catalina Hotel + Beach Club, has announced its eclectic line-up of installations taking place throughout the 13-hour event on November 5-6, 2011. On this special night, the three-building property will be decked out with daring art displays paired with funky foreign beats, the moves of Miami’s Shameless Burlesque Troupe and much more. The hotel will also serve as the main information booth for the event and is centrally located to many performance venues, making it an ideal spot to start or end the night.
Throughout the event, those looking to rest their tired tootsies and get a little people watching in can kick back in the Sleepless Night lounge located in front of the hotel on Miami’s main stretch – Collins Avenue. In the lounge guests can order a round of caffeinated cocktails, refuel with a few light bites or sample one of 12 flavors at the oxygen bar. When ready to depart, “sleep walkers†can hop aboard the complimentary Sleepless Night shuttle, with stops occurring at the lounge all evening long.

“Circuitry†Audio Visual Performance (midnight-5:00 a.m.)
The #1 Billboard artist DJ Maximus 3000 pairs his beats with “Live Stream,†a simulcast performance exploring the inner works of Sleepless Night Miami Beach, with streaming video from each zone streaming on screens and through social media applications. App users can log on to the simulcast and comment on their experiences. Directed by Emmy-award winning director, Andrew Richardson.
