Verge Art Miami Beach 2011 edition will premier at the 45-room Greenview Hotel, the closest hotel of all the satellite fairs in Miami Beach to Art Basel, located a mere half a block from the Miami Beach Convention Center. “It’s a more serious location. Our move to the Greenview positions us square atop the welcome mat to Art Basel,” says owner Michael Workman. “You can look out the front door of the Convention Center and see us waving back.” Besides being closer to the main event collector traffic on Washington Avenue, the Greenview is also a stunning setting for galleries and artists projects, with clean, flat white walls throughout, breezy spacious suites more conducive to a classic true white-cube exhibition environment.
