The Alliance française is associating with Sébastien Verrier in order to offer you an oenology cycle. Sebastien is a young sommelier, often younger than the wines he is serving, but he is also the sommelier in sight in Miami. His work is a real passion, started at 15 when he entered the wine world in the “Les Clos Longchamps” restorant in Paris. After some years spent at the luxury hotel Biltmore in Miami, he is now a consultant and partner of the W Wine shops, awarded by Wine Spectator as “Outstanding Wine Shop 2009”.

During the oenology cycle, participants will do a real “tour de France” of the wines and discover the different terroir, grape variety and vintage years. Sébastien is going to share the pleasure of discovering every sample and he will reveal the oenologists’ secrets to put the colour, aromas and taste of the wines to good use. During four workshops, the oenologists-to be will discover successively the wines of Rhône and Provence, the wines of Bordeaux, the wines of Bourgogne and champagnes around Christmas.
