Now a seasonal event by popular demand, Wine Walk & Shop on the Mile is returning on Thursday, November 17, 2011 to bring an enjoyable evening sampling fine wines, while strolling Miracle Mile’s tree-lined shops and restaurants. Wine lovers will enjoy the perfect wine selection for autumn, served with light bites and special pricing on merchandise at selected shops. The event kicks off at Wolfe’s Wine Shoppe, where each guest will receive a wine-tasting glass and an event program with a detailed overview of participating shops. The last stop is at Fleming’s, where Wine Walk & Shop guests can unwind and enjoy dinner at a special discounted rate.
The first 100 guests to purchase tickets will receive exclusive gift bags with giveaways from renowned Coral Gables vendors and restaurants. Two hours’ worth of complimentary parking will be offered to all guests at either of two garages: Miracle Theatre Garage behind the theatre or Museum Garage behind John Martin’s Irish Pub & Hillstone Restaurant. Featured wines will be available for purchase at a special 25-30 percent discount at Wolfe’s Wine Shoppe to all Wine Walk & Shop guests following the event. Guests will need their entrance ticket to purchase the wines at the discounted price.
