HIGHBAR, a sleek 70s inspired rooftop lounge atop the newly opened Dream South Beach hotel, is a chic lifestyle destination in a contemporary pool setting. Since opening in spring of 2011, under the direction of renowned hospitality management company Trust3 Hospitality, HIGHBAR has become a coveted pool and sky lounge for Miamians and tourists alike boasting spectacular 360° ocean views, high design and culinary prowess.
Built in 1939 as a classy, but tropical type resort, The Tudor Hotel, now known as Dream South Beach, was designed by pre-eminent architect L. Murray Dixon and is considered to be a historic landmark under the United States National Register. However, the building has recently undergone major renovations emphasizing the Art Deco features and tones it originally possessed, including the refurbishment of its rooftop lounge.
Floating high above Miami Beach’s Collins Avenue, HIGHBAR’s rooftop boasts views of the Atlantic Ocean, a lustrous heated pool and plush teak lounge chairs. Modern Art Deco design creates the perfect setting for a memorable experience of poolside luxury in modern tropical scenery.
