All writers, readers, and book lovers are cordially invited to the First Annual Miami Book Fairaoke. What is Book Fairaoke? It’s not, as artist Kevin Arrow suggested, “James Joyce read aloud over Brian Eno” (great idea), but simply plain-old karaoke that happens during Miami Book Fair International. From 8 p.m. – Midnight on Friday, November 18th, come to Lester’s Bar in Wynwood and sign up to sing karaoke alongside authors and local celebrities, or just come to drink craft beer and listen to heartbreaking renditions of Phil Collins’ “Easy Lover.” Admission is free. Karaoke presented by Karaoke Miami.
