Art Basel satellite fair dedicated to showcasing local artists announces selected artists for the 3rd edition event, December 1st – 4th, 2011 at The Awarehouse.
Kerry McLaney (305 Creative Group), Heather Read, Sara Read and Laraine Hart, in association with The Awarehouse, present Miami’s Independent Thinkers ART BASEL 2011, a collaborative multimedia art exhibition showcasing Miami’s premiere, emerging and young artists.
The 4-day fair aims to feature local artists working across a range of media – painters, photographers, filmmakers, sculptors, animators, writers, musicians, muralists, performance and new media artists. The fair will run from December 1-4, 2011 during Art Basel and will include, live music, DJs, performance art, fashion and gastronomic edibles by Ms. Cheezious.
Again this year, Miami’s Independent Thinkers ART BASIL 2011, a co-op farmers market featuring organic fruits, vegetables, herbs, body products, baby products, vegan treats, yoga, sustainable clothes, accessories and activities. Will also include eco-friendly designers and artists. In collaboration with 305Green & Arbodela Fest, full vendor list released soon.
