For centuries, the street has engaged a discourse between the artists and society whether through performances, happenings or exhibitions. Expanding the tradition to the digital domain, we are bringing electroacoustic music, art and performance to the streets of Miami’s Wynwood District for the second consecutive year. Foundation for Emerging Technologies and Arts (FETA) and Harold Golen Gallery are thrilled to invite you to The Street: A Festival of Electronic Music, Art and Performance on December 1, 2 and 3, 2011. We hope to expand on the success of our last year’s edition by welcoming a number of returning artists as well as newcomers. The award-winning artists, composers, instrument designers and performers will enchant you in performances and installations, making the Wynwood’s main street a unique destination.

Featured acts will include electronic music from the shopping carts (Mobile Performance Group), live electronics and video (J. H. Sanchez, P. Matthusen, J. D. Sudol, W. Matthews, io), student groups from Miami universities (MIU Fusion, and FIU Laptop & Electronic Arts Ensemble), touch-sensitive multimedia installations (A.
