Daniel Boulud is the award-winning chef-owner of seven New York City restaurants, with additional dining destinations around the globe. He may be a world-famous restaurateur, but he has never lost touch with his roots in the small village near Lyon, France, where he was raised on his family’s farm, and was first inspired by the rhythm of the seasons. Since coming to the U.S. in 1982, Boulud has become renowned for the contemporary appeal he adds to soulfully satisfying cooking rooted in French tradition.
Originally from Paris, mixologist Xavier Herit joined the ranks of New York’s most celebrated bartenders when he came to DANIEL in 2005, making the restaurant a cocktail lover’s destination.
