Attendees are encouraged to bring their own kosher cuisine to donate to those in need of a warm Chanukah meal, and each person who brings two kosher items will receive a 50% discount off tickets.
Next@19th lights the Hanukkiyah and serves up some fried favorites at their annual Musical Chanukah Party.
Guests will carouse the night away as they enjoy Hebrew, English, Yiddish, and Ladino-inspired Chanukah tunes including an exciting new arrangement of Chanukah, O Chanukah, plus Michael Isaacson’s arrangement of Ocho Kandelikas, courtesy of the Second Avenue Jewish Chorale. Thought you would be interested in including this in any Hanukah round-up stories you may be compiling over the next few weeks.
From Homestead to Hollywood, the animated chorus features a lineup of over twenty inaugural South Florida members including local headliners Cantor Mark H. Kula (Bet Shira Congregation) andMarc Philippe (Temple Emanu-el). Under the direction of Artistic Director Coreen Duffy (Founder, Music Judaica), the ever-growing chorale group welcomes members from all walks of life, ranging from their early twenties into their seventies!
In the spirit of giving, Next@19th proudly welcomes emerging culinary sponsor Bad Jew BBQ, who will be providing a bottle of their signature kosher barbecue sauce for each ticket sold. Bad Jew BBQ will match each bottle given away by donating another to secondary partner Jewish Community Services Kosher Food Bank.
