Solé On the Ocean, an ultra-contemporary boutique hotel in Sunny Isles Beach, will greet 2012 with a “Cirque du Soléâ€-inspired New Year’s Eve extravaganza on Saturday, December 31, 2011 from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m at its beachfront Alba Lounge. Guests will welcome the new year with live music and carnival-themed performances reminiscent of famed Cirque du Soleil acts, as well as an international dinner menu.
Guests will be captivated by a surreal circus of ongoing entertainment, featuring performances by contortionists, acrobats and dancers throughout the evening. As partygoers dance to the beats of DJ Dutch, they will sip top-shelf cocktails and Alba’s signature libations. An expansive international menu includes raspberry-almond baked brie and cheeses, gaucho skewers with flank steak, churrasco and sausage, Miami-style paella, and desserts such as spiced mini cupcakes and gourmet popcorns in flavors like chocolate caramel and sugar coconut.
The cost of entrance is $200 per person and includes entertainment, cocktails and unlimited fare. Special New Year’s Eve room rates are $2012 for a single occupancy suite and $2212 for a double occupancy suite.
