Have you ever seen a Red Dog? Have you ever seen a Pink Sky? Paul Gauguin did! Orchestra Miami performs “Red Dogs and Pink Skies: A Musical Celebration of Paul Gauguin” by Bruce Adolphe. This inspiring performance will teach children about Paul Gauguin, his life and paintings, and the connections that exist between art and music. Featuring narration and power point images of the art, this 45-minute piece is scored for flute, clarinet, violin, cello, bass, percussion and conductor.
