Gallery 212 Miami today officially announced a new partnership with the 2012 Vail Film Festival Presented by Cadillac (March 29th through April 1st) in Vail, Colorado. As part of the partnership, Gallery 212 Miami will host a Pre Vail Film Festival Screening and Reception on Saturday, February 11th where the public will be invited into the Gallery for a free evening of art and film with wine, specialty cocktails and light bites provided by Catch Grill and Bar Marriott Miami Biscayne Bay, Societe Perrier, and PopChips!
Miami art lovers and tastemakers attending February’s Second Saturday Art Walk in the Wynwood Art District will be welcomed into the Gallery from 6pm to midnight to experience the work of famed Pop Artist Michael Perez alongside an A-list of Gallery Featured Artists to include; Master Painter John Pate, Photographer Matt Stock, Artist Jonathan Dvortez, Artist Sean Murdock, Painter and Couture Designer Raull (Italy), Painter Johnny Pate, Fashion Photographer Fred Love, Artist Billy Knows (L.A.), Sculptor Henry Souto, Sculptors and Artist Duo Juan Pablo Vizcaino Cortijo and Sandra Madjdi (PR) and Artist Charlotte Oedekoven.
New for February the gallery is delighted to introduce “Rock Candy†Stone Sculptures by ruru and the featured designers of Gallery 212 Miami’s Art Walks the Runway© Fashion Haus :Frais Culture Menswear Couture introducing the “Frais World” Installation. The Fashion Haus line also includes couture art fashion designs Raull of Reception (Italy), , FMIA Brand by Sean Murdock and Michael Perez Original Designs on Tees and Canvas Bags. Guests will be invited to view a selection of short films in preview of the 2012 Vail Film Festival. Guests will enjoy wine and specialty “New York Lemonade†cocktails from Catch Grill & Bar Marriott Miami Biscayne Bay and Societe Perrier sparkling water, plus light bites and a variety of flavors of PopChips, and will also have a chance to win All Access VIP Passes for two to the 2012 Vail Film Festival.
The 2012 Vail Film Festival will officially open on Thursday evening, March 29th and run through Sunday, April 1st in Vail, Colorado, USA. Festival pass holders will enjoy film screenings, red carpet ceremonies and parties, panel discussions, live music featuring Grammy-winning musicians from LA’s famed Hotel Café, a late night lounge featuring DJ Jason Perez, the festival’s hospitality lounge at The Sebastian Hotel, and the annual awards ceremony recognizing the outstanding work of leaders in the film industry on Saturday, March 31st.
Pop Artist Michael Perez will be a featured celebrity guest artist in attendance throughout the festival weekend in Vail, and will be painting live from the Opening and Closing Night Parties, and can also be found daily in the Hospitality Lounge for meet and greets, photo opportunities, and to show a selection of pieces which will be available for sale during the 2012 Festival with a portion of the proceeds to benefit the charity of choice of the 2012 Vail Film Festival.
