A map marks locations, demonstrates scale, delineates the features of a place, and represents relationships between objects. The artists featured in Mapping: Time and Space are interested in alternative and experimental ways of conceptualizing the map, its meanings, and its uses, converting the utilitarian object to a philosophical gateway.
